This Connecticut Vineyard wedding is one I can’t help but share with you! I know, you’re thinking, “it’s
a vineyard wedding. This isn’t Napa. How am I supposed to take inspiration from this?” But there are
vineyards in Nebraska! And there’s no doubt you’ll be inspired by this bride’s creative vision.
First off, the “I do’s.” They were spoken amidst the grapevines, with crisp white trellis and flowers
offsetting the bright blue sky. The bride and groom set their sophisticated yet homey vibe from the
get go, with two butlers serving up fresh lemonade in mason jars as guests arrived for the ceremony. A
huge wooden table top set upon oak wine barrels added warmth to the lemonade “bar.”
A massive Sperry tent covered fabulously long (think mid-evil feast long) tables, with each nook and
cranny brimming with personal touches! From the bird shaped place cards, to the adorable love bird salt and pepper shakers, to the color coordinated pashminas and flip flops, this bride had her hand in every single aspect of the celebration.
On each table were silver frames reminding people to grab “homemade sweet treats.” And refreshingly,
“homemade” actually meant HOMEMADE. The bride herself baked the festive desserts and created a
dessert bar all her own, giving guests the option to either enjoy on the spot or take home.
The mix of cozy touches with sleek high-end details combined to create one perfectly designed fete!
This wedding is definitely easy to draw inspiration from–maybe some of the ideas will be incorporated
into the wedding of your dreams!
