Vera Wang LOVE

Check. Out. That. Bling.

We’ve shown you the Vera Wang WHITE  collection and the Vera Wang BLACK collection at David’s Bridal. Not enough Vera? Now you can go all Vera. The stunning Vera Wang LOVE collection of engagement rings makes it the perfect trio. Not only did we fall in love with this look, but some of the rings also have sapphire stones in them. I mean, have you thought about your something blue? This something blue is one that can stay with you even after your wedding day is over.

Black in Bridal

Nowhere does it say you have to follow all the rules in bridal style. One of the trends we’re seeing is a greater amount of black in wedding attire. Black is no longer limited to the groom and groomsmen — or even the bridesmaids. If you want to have black in your wedding or if you want to go for something original, maybe this will give you a little bit of inspiration.

Fashion // Vera Wang BLACK

It’s Valentine’s Day!

This fashion-forward line, BLACK, by Vera Wang is excellent for a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner. If your guy hasn’t picked out an outfit, this one has “class” written all over it. It’s also the perfect sophisticated look for the groom or groomsmen at your wedding.

Fashion // What a beautiful bride

After gawking at all the gorgeous dresses at Bridal University, we spent some time talking to Lynne Rustad, owner of Ellynne Bridal, about the dresses coming in this season.

Lynne recalled that for the past couple of years, dresses have come in with that red carpet look. Now, we are seeing trends going back to the classic elements of the 1950s with demure lace, intricate beadwork and modeled after the style of Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn — pretty and dramatic.

“It’s sexy, yet classy,” Lynne said. “These dresses look classy in front but then there is a very dramatic back.”

But if there’s one thing we enjoyed about talking with Lynne, it’s that her goal is to ultimately have people say, “Oh, what a beautiful bride,” at weddings, not “Oh, what a beautiful dress.”

“The dress is just an accessory,” Lynne said. “I want people to see how beautiful the bride is, not just the dress.”
